Affiliate Disclosure
How affiliate links work on GetSmartPromo, what we earn, and why it does not compromise our editorial verdicts.
The short version
Some outbound links to formation platforms (Firstbase, doola, Xolo, Osome, Sleek, MEYDAN, IFZA, Virtuzone, Shuraa, etc.) are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, we may earn a referral fee. You pay the same price.
How the money flows
Formation platforms run affiliate programs (via Impact.com, FirstPromoter, PartnerStack, or direct arrangements) that pay a fixed commission when a new customer we refer completes a purchase. Commissions typically range from $50-400 per successful signup depending on the platform and the customer's package.
We disclose the existence of these commissions here (this page), in the site footer, and on every page that contains an affiliate button.
Why this does not change our verdicts
Two structural checks:
1. Editorial verdicts are pre-committed. Our comparison pages state which platform
wins for which founder profile before affiliate onboarding. The mapping is public in the
comparison_pages data model and the git history shows verdicts do not shift after
onboarding.
2. We publish loss data. Stripe Atlas has $0 affiliate bounty and yet appears in multiple comparisons where it is the correct choice. If commission drove verdicts, Stripe Atlas would be absent.
What we do NOT do
We do not accept payment to bury negative information, exclude competitors, or write sponsored content dressed as editorial. If a platform offers such a deal, we decline it publicly on this page.
Legal basis
This disclosure complies with US FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR §255), EU Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices, and Turkish Advertising Regulation (Reklam Kurulu 2015 Yönetmelik) on affiliate promotion.
